Lilia & Moses matched on Hinge on November 13, 2021 (he liked her first). In true form, Lilia was blunt and told Moses she was leaving to Arizona for a few weeks and left her number for him in case he was willing to wait for her to come back to D.C.
After 2.5 weeks of texts, calls, and Facetimes he offered to pick her up from the airport—a risky move for two strangers. She obliged because, let’s be real, Ubers from the airport are expensive.
The rest was history.
This picture is from their first official “date” when Lilia, very poorly, tried to keep up with Moses as he was training for Ranger School at the Lincoln Memorial...she was sore for a week straight.
A love story for the ages.
As two lovers of travel and adventure, Moses and Lilia have seen their fair share of the world together. 4+ years into their relationship they’ve racked up miles, hotel points, memories, and most importantly they continue to surprise each other day in and day out, no matter where they are.
